Mid-level Technician

Cabin Resources Management has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a **Mid-Level Forest Technician** to our Forestry team.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Mid-level Technician you will be responsible for the following:
- Cutblock and Road Layout
- Timber Reconnaissance
- Riparian assessments
- SP data collection
- GPS data collection/troubleshooting
- Quality Assurance and filing of field data
- Assist with drafting Site Plans and Logging Plans
- Work independently in the field, including coordination and training of junior forestry technicians
**What we are looking for**:
- An above and beyond commitment to safety
- Education in forestry field with a Forestry Tech Diploma or Degree
- Registered or eligible for registration with ABCFP as RPF or RFT
- Experience with road and cutblock layout in BC (Minimum 2 years)
- An understanding of forest policy, guidelines and BC’s regulations
- Experience in cable layout and analysis, SP data collection and drafting, riparian assessments, forest health, surveys and wildfire management
