**ROY NORTHERN LAND AND ENVIRONMENTAL **is an expanding progressive surface land and environmental consulting firm with a special interest in oil and gas, forestry, renewable energy, and agricultural industries, as well as municipal authorities throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Canada’s north. We employ a team of over 65 staff members located in our Fairview, Fort St. John, and Terrace offices, and offer interdisciplinary expertise to develop land solutions for our clients throughout western Canada.

**GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Alberta licensed Land Agent Certification
- Graduate of High School / Post-Secondary institution or college
- Prefer 3+ years of relevant Land Agent Experience in Alberta / NEBC
- Upstream/Midstream project experience
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Current Safety Tickets; Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with existing clients and create/build new relationships with future clients
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work from hotel, camp as required for Industry leading Operator’s midstream projects
- Strong commitment to client satisfaction
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong commitment to health and safety leadership and culture
- Strong working knowledge of the oil and gas industry; Agricultural background would be an asset
- Well versed in pertinent provincial legislation (Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), Land and Property Rights Tribunal, & Canadian Energy Regulator (CER)
- Superior attention to detail and ability to produce deliverables on time and on budget
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Facilitate the notification, consultation and acquisition of midstream pipelines, power lines, oil and gas wells, and facility projects and ensure detailed documentation
- Provide business development and networking opportunities within the oil and gas, mining and energy industries
- Interface with clients, staff, and regulators, to provide land service support
- Provide construction liason support for midstream projects
- Build and maintain positive client relationships focused on providing top-quality service in land expertise
- Document and keep records daily in accordance with our Quality Management Plan
- Work based out of Grande Prairie area with projects located across northwest Alberta and/or Northeast BC

**COMPENSATION**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
