Golden West Broadcasting has been connecting communities for over 65 years. We are proud to tell local stories on CFRY, Mix 96, Country 93, and Portage Online.

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Summer Events Host from May to September.

**The position includes**:

- Attending summer events in the evenings, and on weekends across Central Manitoba
- Gathering, crafting, and sharing audio, visual and written content from events
- Mingling with event planners and attendees
- Are excited to learn how to engage our audience in Central Manitoba
- Are fun, outgoing, and willing to learn
- Are social media savvy. You know how to create engaging content
- Have excellent writing and communication skills
- Enjoy meeting new people and collaborative work

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Portage la Prairie, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
