**General Accountability**
Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of the Broker network. The Sales Manager will identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short
- and long-term sales and earnings. The Sales Professional will report weekly activity through the CRM system, and weekly meetings and achieve key performance indicators which will be agreed upon at each 90-day period.
**Specific Accountabilities**:
- Represent the company favorably
- Have a great knowledge of product lines, ice cream, yogurt, sherbet, frozen dessert
- Good knowledge of our processes and our abilities
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
- Set individual sales targets with sales team
- Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
- Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
- Keep an awareness of when contracts are due
- Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
- Track, collate all sales figures
- Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue through brokers and internal sales
- Generate timely sales report
- Control expenses and monitor budgets
- Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products, market research, competitor, and customer analysis
- Analyze data to identify sales opportunities
- Work with broker network by educating and selling our products
- Oversee 1/4ly reports from the Brokers and follow up their forecasts
- Attend tradeshows, networking opportunities to establish and maintain business relationships
- Follow up customer complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain paperwork
- Forecast 90 days out to ensure we are on track for annual sales goals
- Monthly accounts with key accounts to address inventory levels, identify and find solutions
- Maintain CRM- keep focused on sales opportunities/wins
- Facilitate/grow tier two distribution
- Facilitate/grow direct delivery accounts
- Service accounts both yearly and seasonal.
- Prepare 4 x 90-day plans to grow sales with other team members.
- Provide rationale when goals are not met
- Follow up with customer complaints and order issues in a timely manner
- Process and follow up with sample requests, ensuring the product is perfect before shipping. Find cost saving ways to sample.
- Vet all leads for profitability
- Process and follow through with Freezer Deals, check in with the number of free tubs and signage
- Vet and coordinate all new co-packing leads - taking it from the idea stage to product completion
- Discuss and follow up unique customer ideas with appropriate team members
- Other duties as required.
**Health and Safety Accountabilities**:
- Drive with care and caution. Parking and Driving infractions will be paid for by the employee
- Adhere to company policy when entering the manufacturing facility
- Acknowledge where the fire escape routes are and assist other staff as needed
**Skill and Attributes**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bilingual French is an asset

**Qualifications, Education, Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Business Administration
- 5 + years sales experience
**Working Conditions**:
**Physical Effort**: Majority of time is spent in a comfortable position and most activities require a variety of easy muscle movements. Sustained keyboarding with a required ability to sit for extended periods of time.
**Physical Environment**: Climate-controlled office environment with some work in an environment that contains only occasional exposure to mild unpleasant or disagreeable conditions with a remote possibility of risk of accident or health hazards.
**Sensory Attention**: Work activities involve need to concentrate for intermediate durations at a time with some tasks requiring close attention. The need for detailed or precise work is high.
**Mental Stress**: Frequent exposure to mental pressure conditions where mental stress would be noticeable (e.g. deadlines that have aspects of conflicting and/or competing pressures).

**Salary**: From $71,000.00 per year
