Dispatcher: 1 years (preferred)

Full Job Description
- We are looking for an individual with minimum of 1 year experience as Dispatcher for full time and long-term employment.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
- Proficient with the use of a computer, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Experience working with customers through various means of communication and ability to manage customer relations.
- Must be motivated and able to work productively and efficiently in a team-focused environment, including in high pressure situations.
- Proven problem solving, multitasking and analytical skills; organizational planning and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are coordinated.
- Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Successfully plan and schedule drivers, truck loads, and routes
- Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming phone calls and messages from drivers on the road.
- Collaborate with customer service to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of clients.
- Ensure all units are on schedule for delivery and pickup.
- ensuring that all drivers have confirmed proper load from the paperwork provided.
- Ensure all applicable documentation is retained and processed.
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes.

Must possess great organizational skills.
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a dispatch coordinator.
- Understanding of Canadian geography

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
