**THE ROLE**

As a relatively new organization, we are building our foundation, one of which is a new Pension Administration system.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will immediately work with our Pension Services team but also have a chance to work with various business partners to support the organizational strategic priorities within Investments, or Corporate functions. Specific role assignments will start with Pensions Services but may extend to include:

- Pension Administration: to implement a state-of-the-art pension administration system
- Investment: to work on various private & public investment management systems
- Corporate: to implement foundational systems for Finance, Legal, People. & Communication teams

As a Business Analyst, Pension Administration you will work on Data Conversion initiatives and will engage with business and technology partners to understand data requirements for prioritized data transformation and perform various analyses to recommend options for the business to decide. Providing data analysis to various stakeholders, you should be able to perform tasks with agility and innovation.

We are seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience connecting data to business solutions that we are building and bringing in-house. In this role, you will gather input from business teams and work with vendor and IT teams to come up with solutions. You will review requirements, analyze options, document data & process flows, review data models, and understand legacy system to new system data maps.

Reporting to Senior Director, Delivery Practice & Portfolio Reporting, this role will be responsible for identifying data profiling requirements, identifying source to target transformation rules, validating & reviewing the transformed data, and identifying potential gaps & issues in completeness and quality of the data after conversion & transformation. Additionally, this role will analyze and present different analysis materials for prioritizing issues identified by the business partners which involves collaborating closely with multiple constituents and senior management across the organization.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Engage with business partners to identify requirements for key initiatives, including outcomes, objectives, scope, and functionality.
- Understand and develop data models and data mapping documents, create workflows, document current and future states - with lots of detail in a way that is easily digested.
- Perform and present analysis (e.g., workflows, data model and mapping, legacy and future state, etc.) with appropriate detail and quality.
- Formulate analysis into reports and make recommendations to the team.
- Develop requirements traceability, and participate in testing activities (define approach, write test cases, execute test cases).
- Create visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences.
- Coordinate and prepare comprehensive executive-level insights and analysis.
- Analyze and prioritize business requirements into various solution options by measuring and communicating the proposed benefits of options.
