Hamilton, Canada Q-Air Environmental Controls Full time

**_What You Will be Doing at Q-Air?_**
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimum functioning of equipment, systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment to maintain production efficiency and workplace safety.
- Generate parts list, work with vendors supplying parts and give estimates for the maintenance and repairs.
- Train shop teammates on any new equipment and / or modifications to existing equipment.

**_What Will You Need to Become a Part of the Q-Air Team?_**

**Minimum qualifications and education requirement**
- _**Minimum two years**_ experience working with mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical and maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication

**Preferred qualification and education**
- Two years technical diploma from an accredited school or college

**Special demands**
- Overtime hours when required
- Start prior to or after production when needed.
- Travel to other facility
- Must be familiar with and adhere to Q-Air and OH&S Standards

**Physical demands**
- Heavy lifting as required
- Working conditions may be noisy, dusty and hot or cold

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
