Manager of Flight Crew Staffing

**Position profile**
Reporting to the Director of Services and Customer Care, you will effectively manage, monitor, and support the daily operational activities of the Flight Crew Staffing (FCS) team - which includes Crew Project Coordinators and Pilot Staffing Specialists. Together you will ensure the smooth execution of time-sensitive domestic and international private aircraft projects, in line with ACASS’s mission and core values. **Key responsibilities**
- Define clear responsibilities for direct reports and ensure they have resources and tools to be effective in their roles.
- Provide direct reports with leadership, direction and feedback, mentoring, reviewing performance and facilitating opportunities for growth and cross-training.
- Foster a sense of ownership throughout the department by empowering team members to use their judgement and experience to make sound decisions.
- Manage daily departmental operation, set priorities, and collaborate with direct reports and other internal departments to ensure that sales and client needs are met in a timely manner.
- Anticipate and resolve customer service, operational, and interpersonal conflicts, or issues with a results oriented approach.
- Handle key accounts and aircraft projects.
- Participate in the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding process for new team members, and collaborate with the Director to establish compensation, goals, and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Lead Flight Crew Staffing team meetings and update sales and other departments, as needed.
- Support daily project-related accounting functions (exposure, crew dispatches, crew expenses).
- Develop and foster friendly professional relationships with clients, crew members, and team members.
- Identify opportunities to enhance both crew and customer experiences.

- Personable with excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry professionals, and colleagues across the organization.
- Active customer service-oriented mindset to work with sales to drive business and deliver solutions.
- Ability to work under time-constraints and over multiple time zones without compromising work quality.
- A natural sense of urgency and an ability to excel in a fast-paced global environment.
**Requirements**:
- University degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of people management experience and a minimum of 4 years managing projects in a fast-paced business environment.
- Prior experience in the aviation industry is required; business aviation experience is an asset.
- Mass recruitment experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with Salesforce (CRM).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support international operations, as required.
