**Customer Service**
- Ensure implementation of All factors in providing excellent customer service and follow the procedure accurately
- Empower staff to "use their best judgment" in all customer service matters
- Promote and monitor quality service among staff through training and by acting as a positive role model
- Create "seamless customer service" by making every effort to find products for customers if an item is not available in stock
- Be personally available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their questions or concerns
- Develop the store's "core" customer service
- Be respectful and courteous at all times and teach the staff to be respectful and courteous
**Store Planning**
- Assist in relevant store data as and when required
- Prepare the staff schedule to ensure the minimum wage cost will be met.
- Keep overtime expenses as close to zero as possible
- Maintain an acceptable inventory level at all times and not build dead stock
- Encourage all staff to participate in planning events in the store.
**Operations**
- Assume responsibility for opening and closing the store and securing all assets
- Maintain an efficient ordering system to ensure that all necessary store and office supplies are available as needed
- Maintain all building mechanical systems and report any major malfunctions to business owner so the problem can be fixed
- Ensure store and office cleanliness in maintaining the store professional image
- Maintain store security system, including building security, cash handling, and products
- Maintain a clean and well-organized back stock area
- Maintain and ensure professional product displays and its presentation
- Take timely decisions to send staff back home should the store be slow on any given day to keep the wage cost under control And Ensure The Monthly Wage Cost Percentage Are Met.
- Ensure we are environmentally responsible by recycling, conserving water, and electricity
**Inventory**
- Assist in executing physical inventories by scheduling and overseeing the inventory process
- Follow the instructions of the Inventory Manager on inventory control: ordering system, receiving inventory, control on invoices, paperwork flow, timeliness on receipt of goods, inventory transfers and other related inventory matters
- Maintain a proper balance of the inventory based on the average sales and return any unused items to the suppliers if needed
- Regulate and monitor the flow and sale of products to keep the store inventory under control
- Make sure damaged and defective goods are processed in a timely, accurate manner
- Assist in protecting company assets through promoting awareness of loss prevention
- Avoid wasting products
**Personnel**
- Ensure approval is obtained from the appropriate authority before hiring/dismissing any staff
- Assist in the hiring of staff who pursue passions that relate to our products and philosophy in coordination with the business owner and the Human Resources Department.
- Provide detailed orientation to the new hire as per the orientation plan
- Closely monitor the performance of the new hire during his/her probationary period
- Inspire employees so that each person contributes to the productivity of the store
- Delegate work load appropriately and effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluation/appraisal and goal assessment in coordination with the business owner.
- Ensure reviews are given on schedule and documentation is sent to Human Resources according to the guidelines outlined by the Human Resources Department
- When necessary, discipline employees consistent with the company disciplinary policies
- Ensure that the staff is trained has a valid certificate on first aid.
- Maintain an emergency evacuation system.
**Communication**
- Provide the management team with a daily/weekly/monthly update on the progress of the store and staff activities or issues
- Schedule daily/weekly/monthly group or individual meetings and encourage input from staff
- Maintain open and positive relations with all personnel of the Company
- Maintain feedback loop with customers
- Maintain close coordination with Business Owner on day to day operation
- Ensure the company policy and procedures are followed and adhered to
- Develop and support a positive attitude toward Jiffy Lube and other associated companies
- Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance and service
- Motivate and encourage staff of their professional development
- Oversee training for new employees
- Working with the training liaison, have at least one education and/or informative clinic per month to ensure both product and systems expertise that will improve store operations and allow for better customer service
- Provide an "open door" policy where employees are free to express their concerns and feelings without fear of retribution or ill will
