- **What is the Role?**_

The Warehouse Associate; Shipper and Receiver position is responsible for the maintaining the warehouse and daily activities associated with warehouse organization. Maintaining and keeping records of all products shipped and received for their specific location/warehouse. They are accountable for the packing of goods for shipping, developing mailing labels and shipping documents, ensuring that all orders have been filled accurately and safely. They also inspect and verify incoming shipments by scanning barcodes to include that information into inventory. Items being shipped and received are to be completed in a timely manner, as per our service standards. Per ColdFront’s standard operational policies, the Warehouse Associate will maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment at all times. This position will support both internal and external clients.
- **Responsibilities of the position include**:_
- Maintaining the warehouse and the daily activities within.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips, report damages or discrepancies, and label inventory
- Accurately pick outgoing orders and pack appropriately for shipping
- Determine the best method of shipment for outgoing goods to maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, waybills, and customs documents
- Operate forklift and handcarts to load/unload shipments and move inventory
- Control physical inventory movements of raw and finished goods within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate account of finished goods inventory within warehouse storage locations
- Schedule and coordinate with both inbound and outbound carriers and couriers
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly warehouse environment by keeping shelves, racking, floor and workstations clean and clear
- Backup communication with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Ensuring adherence to ColdFront’s policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- **QUALIFICATIONS**_
- **Education, Certifications, Knowledge & Experience**:_
- Experienced in Warehouse/ Shipping
- Experienced with a forklift/Pallet Jack (certified)
- Previous industry related experience in a repair shop environment is considered an asset
- **Skills and Abilities**:_
- Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can work without a lot of direct supervision; able to ask for direction or additional help when needed.
- Must be fit and able to lift, climb ladders and operate a forklift/pallet jack
- Highly organized and high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
