Qualified Septic System Installer

LBL Excavation & Trucking is expanding and looking for you to join our team We are currently looking for a **Qualified Septic Installer** that would specialize in the installation of septic/sewage systems.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Primary focus on conventional septic systems including trench filter bed and area bed systems
- Experience installing advanced treatment systems (Level 4) including infiltration ATL, Eco-Flow, BIONEST, NORWECO, WATERLOO, and other approved systems
- Full understanding of grades, elevations, and transit use
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineered designs
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and regulatory authorities
- Good understanding of soils and classifications
- Strong problem solving ability
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of equipment and trucks
- Travel to and from job sites; assist with general labour activities on job site
- Document repairs needed on equipment and notify supervisors
- Knowledge of excavators, skid steers, loaders, and heavy equipment considered an asset
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physical abilities including long periods of standing, lifting, working at heights
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate a variety of hand power tools
- Work in accordance with all health and safety laws and regulations
- Complete assigned job in required time frame

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Onsite Septic Installer Certification
- BCIN and Part 8 Ontario Building Code Certification (required)
- 3+ years working on septic system installations
- Valid drivers license ‘G’ level
- Clean drivers abstract
- Experience working with aggregates
