Notes:

The Chignecto-Central Regional Schools are grouped into four Families of Schools. Reporting to the Director of School Administration, the Family of Schools Supervisor is a member of the CCRCE Senior Management Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- administration and leadership of a Family of Schools;
- monitoring the quality of teaching and learning;
- evaluation of Principals and monitoring the teacher evaluation process;
- responding to staff and parental concerns;
- the allocation of resources (both financial and personnel) to schools;
- leading Student Success Planning;
- liaising with all departments within the CCRCE regional structure;
- the development and support of school site leadership;
- management of the budget for a Family of Schools.

The Family of Schools Supervisor position may also include regional responsibilities.
Qualifications:

- Family of Schools Supervisor
- Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education Degree, and;
Master's degree in Educational Administration/Curriculum or equivalent
- Experience
- Have at least five (5) years of experience as a successful school based Principal or such length and combination of relevant administrative experience that is considered equivalent (with a minimum of two (2) years of school based administration experience)
- Ability
Additional Assets:

- Experience at various grade levels;
- Leadership experience beyond the school level;
- Understanding and effective implementation of Restorative Approaches;
- Experience working with community agencies and partners in a collaborative-interagency approach.
