**Our Family Resource Network in Stettler, serving communities to the east is seeking a**:
**Full-Time Permanent Family Facilitator and Home Visitor (20 hours per week each)**

The **FRN (Family Resource Network)** is funded through the Prevention, Early Intervention and Youth Branch of The Ministry of Children and Family Services and has been created to provide Alberta families, children and youth aged 0-18 with evidence based and informed services. The services offered by the FRN will include child development, well-being support, caregiver capacity building support, and social connections and supports.

**Minimum Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A diploma or degree in the Human Services Field and minimum 2 years human services experience _(consideration will be given to those with partially completed education)_
- Proof of Membership in Professional Association _(when applicable)_
- Proven record of group facilitation
- Knowledge of parent/child relationships and family dynamics
- Can model appropriate parenting skills.
- Basic First Aid Level C with Adult, Child, and infant CPR &AED
- Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training
- Intervention Record & Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
- Class 5 Driver’s License, Clean Drivers Abstract and reliable vehicle for occasional client transportation required.
- Preferred Early Childhood Development Experience.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Group facilitation of children, youth, and parents within the designated communities (travel required)
- Providing education to parents in the areas of a child’s physical, emotional, and social developmental milestones
- Mentorship in the areas of emotional, behavioral & social development for youth
- Linking families with community services
- Provided in-home parenting education and family support services to expectant parents and those with children newborn to age six.
- Collect and prepare data to ensure proper reporting in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.

**Wage**: 20 hrs./week $23.25 per hour. 20 hrs./week $25.00 per hour. Plus, Travel Reimbursement at $0.55/KM.
