**T**he Role**

Equispheres is seeking an experienced IT Director to join our growing team as we work collaboratively with our customers and partners to accelerate the growth of the metal additive manufacturing industry.

The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, ensuring the smooth and effective flow of information throughout the organization. This includes implementing and maintaining enterprise systems, managing the company's technology infrastructure and IT security, and developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.

The IT director will report to the COO and collaborate with all of Equispheres’ technical, administrative, and operations teams to advance business information management projects. A main priority will be the deployment of essential business systems such as ERP, CRM, and MES, making sure that information is well-connected to support our expanding production.

**The IT Director **is responsible for**:

- Taking a hands-on approach to developing and implementing IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Directly managing the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems.
- Leading the IT team of internal and external resources, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business operations.
- Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technology trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT
- Leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Experience with enterprise systems implementation and management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- Experience in the relevant industry is a plus.

**H**ighly Desirable Requirements**
- Beneficial to have experience managing IT infrastructure for physical manufacturing environments
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSsuite is an asset
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, problem-solving startup
- Rapid organizational scale-up experience would be an asset.
