We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales to join our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CCO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales and revenue growth strategy in the Canadian cannabis market. This is a highly influential and customer-focused position that requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the cannabis industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing domestic sales, leading key account relationships, driving consumer and customer education initiatives, and leveraging data analysis to optimize revenue generation. You will manage a team of professionals, working in collaboration with the VP Marketing & New Business to bring the company's strategic vision to life.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Domestic Sales Leadership**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive domestic sales strategy, encompassing all provinces and 3rd party partners (ie Medical)
- Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive revenue growth.
- Build and manage a strong, results-oriented sales team to execute the sales plan effectively.

**Key Accounts Leadership**:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, including retail partners and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure key accounts' needs and expectations are met.

**Consumer and Customer Education**:

- Develop and implement educational programs for consumers and customers to increase product awareness and knowledge.
- Work with the team to create engaging educational content, seminars, and events.
- Foster a culture of excellence in customer service and ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience.

**Customer and Data Analysis**:

- Utilize data analytics and market research to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Partner with the VP Marketing & New Business to develop pricing strategies, product mix recommendations, and market segmentation based on data insights from customers.
- Regularly report on performance and utilize data to make data-driven decisions.

**Leadership & Team**:

- Role model the mission, vision and values of the Company, and lead the business to exceed expectations so that all our stakeholders share in the extraordinary value that we create
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales and customer education team
- Set clear goals and objectives for team members and provide guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the team

**Strategic Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the VP Marketing & New Business to align sales strategies with the company's overall growth and expansion goals
- Participate in strategic planning, contributing to the development of business plans, budgets, and revenue forecasts
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and product development

**Qualifications / Expectations**:

- 10+ years experience, Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
- A proven track record, in a Sales leadership role, of successfully leading and revenue growth of a business or division within a dynamic industry, preferably within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods sectors (Cannabis preferred)
- Proven experience in key account management and relationship-building
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in data analysis tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to responsible and compliant business practices
- Ability to travel within Canada for approx.1 week every month.
