Casual Early Childhood Educator

Regina, Canada Kidzone Child Care Inc. Full time

Looking for casual employees to assist primarily in our before and after school program, and occasionally in our child care centre.

Hours are flexible, with no guarentee on a specified amount of hours per week. Hours will depend on the centre's needs, as well as the availability of our current staff.

B&A operating hours are 7:00-9:00/10:00 and 3:00-6:00, on school days only.

Child care hours are mostly 3:00-6:00. There are opportunities to pick up longer shifts when staff are on holidays or sick.

Staff can also pick up open shifts on our scheduling app, as well as when a staff member drops their shift to be picked up by someone else.
- Looking for individuals with a positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
- Child care workers need to able to help lead a large group of children ages 18 months to 12 years old.
- Child care workers will assist in planning and implementing activities alongside other child care workers.
- Child care works must ensure children are supervised at all times.
- Child care workers must be comfortable to lead a group of around 15 school age children on their own, with the assistance of other staff.
- Child care workers will assist with any end of day cleaning duties, such as wiping tables, sweeping the floor, etc.

Criminal record check is required.

**Salary**: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 15 per week
