**Position Description**
Casual positions are available for an Early Childhood Educator in the YWCA Centre for Play and Development. The successful applicant will be responsible for the children’s wellbeing as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing a safe environment for all children
- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles
- Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children
- University Students with equivalent education in a related field that provides a good understanding of child development will be considered
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Criminal record check

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $14.30-$17.30 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- early childhood educator certificate (preferred)

Work Location: One location
