Property Manager

Full time position responsible for the direct management and oversight of assigned commercial and/or residential properties of the Society including but not limited to: ensuring applicable regulatory standards are met; maintaining a positive relationship with the tenants; negotiate lease/contracts with contractors; advertise and market vacant spaces; collect receivable accounts and handle operating expense; develop and manage annual budgets, oversee property personnel and develop and maintain security.
**Qualifications**:
Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and functions of property management, building maintenance, repair and property improvements, ability to manage operating budgets and perform income testing, familiarity with funding and subsidy options for residential tenants and in depth knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act. Possession of a Property Management or Social Housing Certificate and/or appropriate combination of education and experience. Preferred knowledge of community living sector and experience in social housing. Must be well organized with excellent time management, strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
Hours of Work
Works 37.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule which will include days, evenings and weekends as necessitated by the job requirements;
