Description

The Amherst Evaporation Plant is currently seeking to hire **4 temporary full-time Summer Students** between the dates of May 1 to September 5, 2023. Students must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary education institution. Dates may vary based on school schedules.

**Hourly rate: $18.89**

**Essential Job Functions**:Include but are not limited to the following:

- (Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time.)_
- General labour (i.e. cleaning, painting and janitorial duties)
- Operate packaging equipment
- Loading bulk trucks
- Dust collection duties
- Sanitation related inspections and cleaning
- Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces.
- Varied Shifts and hours will be required, Days, Afternoons, Midnights.

Qualifications

**Qualifications**:
**Education and/or Experience**:

- Minimum High School graduate by June 2023 and must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary education institution. Proof of enrollment will be verified prior to an offer.
- Previous manufacturing/industrial equipment operation, and material handling equipment operation is preferred
- Provide own safety footwear
- Previous forklift experience is preferred
- Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail
