***Opportunity***:
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning (temporary), the **Demand Planner** is responsible for creating and maintaining the Demand Plan and sales forecast as part of Saje monthly process. The activities include maintaining a monthly/weekly forecast by building assumptions from historical sales performance, marketing plans, product plans and go-to-market plans.

Through day to day functions, the** Demand Planner** contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje’s culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje’s values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Channels and Finance) in order to create a consensus demand plan every month for the categories assigned
- Continuously maintain an accurate 12-months rolling forecast for all active SKUs, across multiple selling regions in units and dollars
- Analyze internal and external factors influencing demand patterns (Marketing plans efficiency, promotions,special events, etc.)
- Work with cross-functional partners to determine forecasts for new product introductions
- Create/Maintain/Improve dashboards and metrics related to Demand Planning
- Provide accurate long-range forecasts to other partners within Operations so that they can plan activities to balance inventory between DCs, plan stores replenishments, and provide forecasts to key vendors and co-manufacturers
- Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to build demand driven quarterly sales plans
- As required, support FP&A team to develop and prepare annual and quarterly budgets
- Identify key industry drivers to better forecast demand
- Inform product strategy decisions by providing timely and accurate product analysis with historical sales data, missed sales opportunities, demand drivers to support Marketing campaigns & activations, product markdownand promotion strategies, and channel allocation strategies
- Continuously work to improve demand planning processes, tools and communication with cross-functional partners

***Applicant Requirements**:

- 1-3 years working in Demand Planning, experience in Retail considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and manipulating large data sets (knowledge of advanced planning systems would be an asset)
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in business, mathematics, economics, supply chain, operations, engineering or relevant discipline
- Proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an ability to interpret data and high degree of detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deal with a variety of changing situations while maintaining focus and a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-up skills
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people in cross functional teams
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and keen to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow oneself
