We are looking for a junior project controls specialist. The position reports to Project Controls Manager and will assist the project in day-to-day tasks related to project controls.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Support Cost and planning teams in day-to-day activities.
- Produce periodical progress, Earned Value and KPI reports and recommend corrective actions under the supervision of senior staff.
- Coordinate and execute cost engineering activities.
- Develop, maintain and update project’s budgets, capture actual costs and produce cost forecasts
- Assist with change management system.
- Gather information for cost trending and project performance review meetings.
- Provide budgetary information to project team members.

**What will you contribute?**
- Engineering degree in related fields, preferably civil engineering.
- 0-5 years of experience in one or more of the following sectors: heavy civil works, rail and transit, roads and bridges.
- Experience in large projects (> $500M), preferably in PPP, EPC or Design & Build type projects.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and Cost Management Systems (JD Edwards, Oracle).
- Experience with top tier construction / engineering companies.
- Planning and organizational skills, adept to working under pressure and stretch assignments.
- Sound communication skills, fluency in English a must, French and Spanish advantage.
- Membership in AACEI, CCP certification an advantage.
