Publications Associate

The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) is seeking a **Publications Associate **to join its Governance & Communications team on a full-time basis. The Publications Associate is responsible for coordinating manuscript submissions for the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association (JCDA.ca), organizing newsletter content and providing general support to the team.
**Your primary responsibilities will be to**:
- coordinate the JCDA.ca manuscript submissions and administrate the peer review process;
- liaise with authors, reviewers and staff on matters relating to CDA’s publication process;
- prepare articles for copyediting and ensure that content fits the publication style;
- respond to general inquiries and reprint requests for published CDA publications;
- gather content and advertisements for CDA’s weekly newsletter;
- coordinate newsletter content approvals and translations;
- liaise with external companies, ad agencies and CDA technical staff to deliver the final newsletter; and
- provide general support to the Governance & Communications team.
**You must have the following**:
**Education**:
- A college diploma or equivalent experience.
**Experience**:
- 1-3 years in digital or print publications.
- Exporting data and working with mailing lists.
**Skills**:
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and publications software.
- You are a quick learner, multitasker and team player, and have a keen attention to detail.

- Coordonner l’approbation et la traduction du contenu des bulletins;
- Assurer la liaison avec les entreprises externes, les agences de publicité et le personnel technique de l’ADC pour diffuser le bulletin final;
- Fournir un soutien général à l’équipe de la gouvernance et des communications.

**Études**:
- Diplôme d’études collégiales ou expérience équivalente.
**Expérience**:
- 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans les publications numériques ou imprimées.
- Exportation de données et travail avec des listes de diffusion.
**Compétences**:
- Solides compétences en rédaction, en relations interpersonnelles et en organisation.
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
- Maîtrise des logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office et des publications.
- Facilité d’apprentissage, polyvalence,esprit d’équipe et grand souci du détail.
