Titan Livestock Inc. is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to fill the position of Livestock Dealer Operations Assistant.

Titan Livestock is a growing agri-business active on the cattle sector. We focus on building lasting customer relationships through strong service delivery and product quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the operations of purchasing and selling feeder and fed cattle.
- Learn and champion the Linus7 dealer, risk and inventory management software system.
- Must learn, understand and demonstrate competency of cash, futures and basis values related to cattle prices.
- Assist with the management of cattle contracts, pricing, and confirmations.
- Assist with scheduling, imports/exports and quality control of fed and feeder cattle.
- Record fed cattle grading information.
- Assist with month end processes and reconciliations.
- Assist Accounting department with tasks as required.
- Liaise with customers and vendors as needed.
- Reception and administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, scanning & receiving/distributing mail.
- Maintenance of electronic filing system.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years cattle industry experience required.
- Minimum 2 years office administration experience required.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the cattle feedlot industry.
- Some accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Must have experience with computer programs with the ability to learn and understand internal programs quickly.
- Must have strong focus and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with strong organization and multitasking skills
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Hours fluctuate between 35-40 hours per week depending on the season. May require occasional evenings or weekends.
- Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, oral)
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
