As a Quality Assurance Technician Intern, you will gain valuable industry experience along with personal and professional skills to begin building your career.

**Your day to day activities will include**:

- Conduct wheat and flour testing and analysis, ensuring raw material and finished goods quality and food safety are within the predetermined product specifications
- Complete and issue customers’ documents such as Certificate of Analysis, Product Specifications and other inquiries
- Assist in the maintenance of Quality program and manual which includes but not limited to periodic review and inspections, updating documents, filing and organizing, corrective and preventive action reporting
- Maintain documents and records in accordance with P&H policies and procedures
- Report and communicate with Department Supervisors/Managers on matters regarding the results of quality testing and analysis
- Participate in Food Safety programs, including maintenance of the Supplier Approval program
- Participate and assist with traceability, mock recalls exercise, audits, customer complaints and inquiries
- Support and participate in third party, customer and regulatory audits
- Currently enrolled in a Food Science, chemistry, or related field program
- Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles
- Familiarity with basic laboratory instruments as well as physical and chemical testing and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines
