**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Manager, Procurement and PE Process in the day-to-day operations by ordering materials, supplies and/or equipment and the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery.

Additionally, the PA will generate/enter purchase orders as required, obtain price quotations, set up new product codes, call vendors for quotes and delivery updates; track orders. This role will also assist with inventory management, verify stock availability from current inventories; review requisition orders for accuracy and generate reports as needed.

**ABOUT YOU**:
We are looking for someone with a degree or diploma from a Purchasing/Supply Chain Management program or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in Purchasing and ideally in Print Production. You must be familiar with manufacturing processes and workflows, a finesse in customer service and operate within Health and Safety Guidelines. You are proficient with computers and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and have the physical ability to handle stacks of paper.
