**Semiconductor Test Engineering Intern**
**Business Line Description**
Product Line Precision Analog Interfaces has a wide variety of products ranging from analog to digital converters, temperature sensors, level shifters, real time clocks, General purpose input output expanders, I2C -I3C protocol controllers, high speed interfaces, custom silicon designs, trust provisioning, wireless interfaces, and various memories. This is a truly mixed-signal product line which is at the core of NXP. This is a fast paced wok environment and a very experienced Test Engineering team.
**Job Summary**:
- Drive test solutions in NXP that will help us get the products to our customers cheaper, faster, and with more quality. Learn different tools available on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Advantest or Teradyne
- Analyze data and define next steps for debug
- Learn state of the art test pattern conversion tools
- Learn New Product Introduction (NPI) process from the planning stages to assisting design for tape out, silicon debug and characterization, limit setting, and production release
- Work with key partners (ATE vendors, handler vendors, prober vendor, PCB design, and PCB manufacturing vendors)
- Learn about reliability testing and how to create robust test programs
**Key Challenges**:
- Deliver tools and re-usable modules that will make test program development easier
- Reduce test time by removing redundancies, performing tests concurrently, and increase parallelism
- Find unique ways to simplify test coverage
**Cross functional aspects**:
- Co-develop test program routines in consultation with Design, Product, and Test Engineering
- Drive bench to ATE correlation by consulting with bench validation team and coordinating correlation

**Job Qualifications**:
- BSEE or MSEE
- Up to 2 years work experience, including internships
- Proficiency in useful software tools such as Pearl a plus. ATE programming is done using VBA (Visual Basic), or C++, experience with these languages is preferred
