The Valuations group at SB Partners LLP is seeking a dynamic, driven, and service-oriented Valuations Associate to join our team

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of schedules and reports such as forecasts, earnings analyses, valuation models, loss quantification and discounted cash flows analyses in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Complete pricing analysis relating to purchase/sale of a business,
- Assist with quality of earrings analysis, researching various economic, technical and industry valuation drivers,
- Work with team members in completing the valuation analysis and detailed financial reports.
- Communication of the file status to managers and ensuring that progress is consistent with expectations.
- Liaising with clients, accountants and lawyers to acquire requested information.
- Balance multiple engagements and responsibilities.
- Assist with transactional work, including due diligence and quality of earnings analyses.
- Provide upward feedback to improve process and communication.
- Assist with internal performance enhancement initiatives.
- Enter daily timesheet hours and personal expenses.
- Meet target billable and non-billable hours.
- Additional duties, as assigned.

**What you offer**:

- University degree in finance and or accounting.
- Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountants Designation.
- CBV designation or progression toward completion of the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) program.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Valuations Associate, Accountant or similar role
- Strong client service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, results driven.
- Willingness to be coached and mentored.
- Experience using CaseWare and TaxPrep software.
- Experience using QuickBooks or Simply Accounting.
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards for private enterprises.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works effectively within an open-concept environment with distractions (phones, conversations etc.).

**What we offer**:
