Position Overview

**Responsibilities**:
Analytics and Reporting:
- Assist with the gathering and analysis of data from digital campaigns, including social media and Google AdWords, to measure and report on their effectiveness.- Generate regular reports detailing the results of communications efforts and suggest adjustments to enhance future campaigns.

Google AdWords Campaign Management:
- Help manage and optimize Google AdWords campaigns to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.- Collaborate with team members to develop campaign strategies and monitor budget allocations.

Google Locations Management:
- Oversee the management of Google Locations to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information across all municipal properties and facilities.- Work with Communications staff and connected departments to enhance local SEO through strategic use of Google Locations.

Multimedia Creation:
- Assist in creating multimedia content, including photos and videos, tailored for different digital platforms.- Participate in planning and executing photo and video shoots, handling scheduling, logistics, and post-production tasks.- Manage digital assets, including organizing and archiving photos and videos.- Ensure that multimedia content is readily accessible and properly categorized.

Communications Support:
- Write and edit SEO focused content for the employee intranet and the external city website.- Contribute to content strategies for social media channels.

Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to communications advisors, social media specialists, and graphic and web designers.- Help coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and manage other administrative tasks as required.

**Requirements**:
- Recent graduation (within 3 years) from a degree program in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.- Experience with photography, videography, and graphic design.- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, particularly Google AdWords and understanding of SEO best practices.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in SharePoint.-
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.- Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
