Minimum requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working with environmental regulations including interacting with regulators and managing compliance- A post-secondary education in Engineering, Science or Engineering technology- Demonstrate comprehensive and advanced knowledge when interacting with regulators at a facility level with mínimal to no supervision- Strong communication and collaborative skills with the ability to self-prioritize work, managing multiple tasks/requests from a variety of stakeholders- Conduct a hazard assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, audits and self-assessments

**Responsibilities**:
- Provides E&R advice and expertise with mínimal to no supervisor oversight- Identifies E& R risk and influences the thinking /actions of others without exercising direct authority- Acts as a functional representative on cross functional teams, collaborating with frontline leadership and managers- Solves complex problems and contributes to business goals- Interface with government E&R representatives (reporting, inspections, investigations)- Scope of influence generally extends to one site with the potential to be rotated to other areas as needed

Location & other key details- You will work out of our camp-based Fort Hills mining site, located in Alberta’s Athabasca region, 90 kilometres north of Fort McMurray, Alberta- The shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (12-hour shifts)- You will be on a Fly-In-Fly-Out Rotation from one of the approved hubs of Edmonton or Calgary or a Bus-In-Bus-Out of Fort McMurray.
