**Job Summary**
- Printing Services is an administrative unit that provides cost effective, timely and high quality print-related services in support of Dalhousie’s teaching, learning and research activities. Reporting to the Manager of Printing Services, the Print & Production Support Coordinator is a member of the production team responsible for producing a wide range of documents under the guidance of the print technicians and is tasked with assisting customers and coordinating client requests to ensure deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with trouble shooting for customers using the quick print, self-serve computer stations and printers, resolve order issues and contact customers (i.e., incorrect order received or missing order).
- Operate various office printers, large format printer and fax machine - including refilling paper trays, clearing jams, changing toner cartridges, and submitting service calls.
- Safely operate laminator, punch, coiler/crimper, cutter, folder, perforator, drill, and shrink wrapper to finish various types of jobs for customers.
- Operate power jack as needed to receive pallets of paper and printed materials.
- Order intake for printing, photocopying, finishing, exam scanning, faxing, and supplies - including complete order forms on behalf of customers. Perform other administrative duties as required.

**Note**
Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.

Dalhousie’s vaccine mandate has been suspended at this time, and employees no longer need to provide proof of full vaccination. However, health and safety risks to our community will continue to be monitored and a vaccine mandate may be reinstated if necessary.

**Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma, plus approximately one to two years’ experience in a print centre environment, office administration or a related environment (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Previous experience working in print or print production.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat and InDesign.
