**Introduction**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced **Product Manager** for our Fish Tracking Division for a Full-Time position in our Bedford location. Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will use your experience managing technology products to drive innovation and spearhead the development of cutting-edge hardware and software solutions for aquatic science.

With the recent launches of both our state-of-the-art NexTrak fish tracking solution and our AI-based fish movement monitoring technology, we are at the forefront of the evolution in understanding and management of aquatic ecosystems. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable fisheries and environmental monitoring, collaborating with a dynamic team of experts to bring revolutionary products from concept to market. **Role and Responsibilities**

Primary areas of responsibility include:

- Generating new product and product improvement ideas to grow our Fish Tracking business
- Scoping and prioritizing development activities based on business and customer impact
- Developing and maintaining a product development roadmap and communicating the roadmap to stakeholders
- Reporting on the progress of developments, feature changes, product issues, and customer requests
- Representing Product Management throughout the Product Development process: working cross-functionally with internal business, engineering, software development, manufacturing, project management, and customer-facing teams to bring product modifications and new products to market
- Creating and maintaining channels for product feedback
- Collecting and analyzing competitive intelligence and feedback from internal and external stakeholders; using feedback to inform product strategy and the development roadmap
- Working with the Marketing team on customer/market discovery and developing business cases for new products and new markets
- Working with the Marketing team on product launches and competitive positioning strategy
- Conducting sales and distributor training sessions on new products
- Traveling to scientific conferences, customer meetings, and customer field sites

**Education**

This role requires a bachelor’s degree with preference given to Business Administration, Science, or Engineering.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Previous product management experience in a technology field
- Experience working with technical products and technical teams
- Demonstrated experience in bringing technology products to market in a competitive, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success defining, launching and managing products throughout the lifecycle
- Highly collaborative team player with the skill sets required to influence, gain buy-in and evoke action in a cross functional team environment
- Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders and communicating across a wide range of technical levels
- Ability to work and communicate effectively at strategic and operational levels
- Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and a keen business sense
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong focus on the customer experience
- Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic and high-performance environment
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in skills development and personal growth
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems
- Highly motivated to continuously improve products/processes and able to think out of box
- Ability to travel to our Domestic and International related events (US and Europe) is required
