**Position Overview**:
A Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is a professional who completes administrative duties for the human resources department of an organization. They assist the HR department with recruitment, maintain employee records, assist with documentation and provide administrative support to all employees. We are looking to employ an HR coordinator with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill. An HR coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Recruitment:
- Assist the HR Administrator & third-party recruitment firm with the coordination of recruitment process.
- Support HR Administrator in scheduling recruitment meetings, prescreens, interviews, and third party HR calls.
- Post positions on external sites, review resumes, conduct phone screens with the support of the HR Administrator.
- Maintain HRIS recruitment tool to ensure applicants are kept up to date.
HR Administration
- Answering front line employee HR questions and escalating as appropriate.
- Participate in HR cross-functional activities
- Maintain data accuracy in HRIS
- Upload hard copy employee documents into electronic file form
- Support Performance Management process with maintaining documents in employee files.
- Adhoc requests.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Currently enrolled in a post-graduate or post-secondary program focused on Human Resources
- A collaborative team player
