The Catering and Premium Services Coordinator is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within catering and/or other premium services operations. This is a hands-on introductory position for someone who is starting with their hospitality career. Mainly working in the afternoon/evening, but not limited to. From time to time you will be scheduled for morning or weekend shifts. You’ll assist & collaborate with teammates and help where needed. This position will lead events & catering delivery requests in line with client & service expectations. **Responsibilities**:

- Combination of hand on operation & office administration
- Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation, customer service, etc.
- Sets up work areas according to guest/client requests, banquet event orders, Aramark standards, etc.
- Ensures service areas are maintained including replenishment of product, cleanliness, etc.
- Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests’ needs
- Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Receive, document & communicate scheduled events with appropriate departments
- Assist clients in planning special events and provide creative solutions
- Conduct post-event inventory ensuring billing accuracy
- Day-to-day accurate computer input & documentation pertaining to events is required
- Must attend each event to execute service & to ensure complete client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all food, occupational & environmental safety policies & ensures security of company assets
- Able to work independently

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role is an asset
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage is asset
- Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to respond to shifting priorities
- Professionalism and exceptional communication required to liaise with clients
- Organized and able to maintain emotional control under stress
- Knowledge of catering software programs (Catertrax) is an asset
- Computer proficiency is required for day-to-day required input, documentation, and general tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a team from various departments
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or early mornings for pre-scheduled events
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
