Sessional Instructor

Are you a passionate early childhood educator who loves mentoring? We currently have an opportunity for a Practicum Supervisor to teach in our ECE certificate program. Practicum Supervisors host information sessions, instructional seminars and conduct weekly site visits for adult students on practicum.
- Familiar with the BC Early Learning Framework and ECEBC Code of Ethics
- Experience working in a variety of ECE settings
- Familiarity with online student information systems such as Moodle or Blackboard is an asset
- Computer literacy with a broad knowledge of Microsoft office programs, including development and running presentations.
- Demonstrated understanding, experience, and commitment to the ECE field
- Evidence of good working knowledge of ECE curriculum

As an instructor, you are passionate about teaching, have superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, have a great attitude, can engage and maintain students’ attention, have the ability to teach at all learning levels, and strive to facilitate students’ success.

RMC has students throughout the lower mainland so some driving to various childcare centres is required (mileage is reimbursed). We do our best to minimize driving by matching supervisors with students in their general area.
