Social Media Coordinator- e Commerce

As an internal Social Media and E-commerce Coordinator, you will play a role in establishing and executing a comprehensive social media and marketing campaign, while also driving e-commerce initiatives. Responsibilities will include coordinating the activities of third-party vendors and collaborate with internal resources to build brand awareness and increase sales. This position requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, e-commerce strategies, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Implement a cohesive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Create engaging and shareable content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive results.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative strategies.
2. E-commerce Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company's e-commerce websites, including product listings, pricing, product photos and inventory management.
- Implement strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and improve the overall online shopping experience.
- Monitor and analyze e-commerce metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
3. Third-Party Coordination:
- Identify and onboard third-party vendors, agencies, and influencers for social media and e-commerce collaborations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for third-party partners, ensuring clear communication, deliverable timelines, and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and collaborate with vendors to align their activities with the company's brand and marketing goals.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for ongoing partnerships.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as product managers and creative teams, to ensure consistent brand messaging and product representation across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences, gather feedback, and align strategies for increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience in social media management, e-commerce, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling and management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in social media and e-commerce.
