**Group**:Flooring Division
**Job title: Territory Manager - Flooring**
**Reporting to**:Sales Manager - Ontario
**Territory**:Southwestern Ontario
**Description**:
**Duties**:
- Grow territory through B2B sales, executing with superior sales and relationship building abilities
- Further grow sales by finding builder and project opportunities and pulling them through the dealer network
- Successfully manage the demands of a multiline distributor through strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and yearly sales plan
- Responsible for ensuring customer accounts are in good standing and all credits, discrepancies and other account issues being resolved in a timely fashion
- Work closely with Inside Sales, who enter and track orders and assist in the selling process
- Maintain contact with sales manager to maximize market share and growth
- Responsible for claim inspections and their successful resolution
- Set-up and attend industry trade shows
- Work with Product Managers to identify all potential opportunities, missed sales, inventory, market trends, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Self-starter able to effectively manage selling multiple product lines
- Ability to prospect and close the sale through strong verbal communication, selling and customer service skills
- Exceptional relationship builder that garners a following amongst customers
- Experience in the flooring industry in a sales capacity
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities
- Able to perform well in stressful situations
- Ability to analyze, solve problems and make decisions
- Open minded, with a willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Overnight travel will be periodically required as is the ability to work some nights and weekends to attend trade shows
- Live in Southwestern Ontario
