This is a rare opportunity for the right person who has experience with managing rental properties. I have just acquired a rental property and I am looking for an assistant with some experience that can work with me as I take on this new endeavor. I will need your assistance when advertising, responding to calls, showing the apartment, collecting rent, and responding to tenant calls promptly. I will need to cultivate a relationship with some service people to help with maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act along with experience with paperwork and the board would a strong asset. I need someone who is a prompt and effective communicator, able to keep accurate records in case of an audit. I am looking for someone who is reliable, well organized, and has strong people skills.

Typically, this will be a few hours a month, unless I am looking for a new renter or an issue arises. I will pay a monthly per diem for that light assistance but at those points of greater activity, there will be an additional hourly rate applied to those hours worked. Rates to be discussed. A vehicle will be necessary for the work and mileage is compensated while acting on my behalf.
