Long Haul Dispatcher

We are currently looking for a Long-Haul Dispatcher to join our company.

Specific Skills:

- Co-ordinate, assign and review the duties including shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories.
- Experience in conducting quotations and coordinating the routines for shipments associated to all modes of transport (Courier, Ground Services).
- Coordinating production work, dispatching crew, scheduling transportation routes and other related activities.
- Ensure smooth operation of equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Ensuring all truck operators are aware of job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Calculate and provide information about the shipment statistics such as weight, destination, quantity, type and charge.
- Ensures documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carriers, forwarders, customers and agents in timely manners.
- Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping companies, clearing agents, warehouses and all other parties involved in the shipment.
- Handling customer complaints or any major incidents, such as a damage issue.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Min. 1 year experience in transportation and logistics
- Dispatch experience an asset
- PARS and ACI experience an asset
- Attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking skills

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
