Title: General Labourer/Cleaner

Reports to: General Supervisor

Rate of Pay: $20.70/hour

**Contract Position to start ASAP and end August 2023**

**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- General area cleaning of assigned buildings: Vacuuming, Mopping, Dusting, Window cleaning, Other general cleaning duties as assigned
- Daily management of waste and recycling of assigned buildings
- Communicate effectively with building residents in a respectful and professional manner
- Report any unsafe conditions to Supervisors immediately
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Lift and move materials as needed

**Required Qualifications**
- Must have steel toe boots
- Must have own vehicle to be able to travel between various sites throughout Midland/Penetanguishene & Simcoe County
- Must be able to lift and handle materials of 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to take instruction
- Responsible, motivated and interested in learning new skills
- Reliable and on time
- Can work independently
- WHMIS, and First Aid certification are considered assets but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $20.70 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midland, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
