About Us:
The Virtual Health Hub (VHH) represents a transformative initiative developed and led by Indigenous groups, reflecting Indigenous priorities and aiming to reshape healthcare delivery across Canada. Rooted in a proven approach for culturally responsive and economically efficient healthcare, the project harnesses the latest in remote health technology under the guidance of Dr. Ivar Mendez, a renowned leader in the field, Chief Darcy Bear, a visionary Indigenous leader, and Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT), a key partner in education and training. The VHH is currently developing a new facility at Whitecap Dakota Nation, with completion expected in Fall/Winter 2026.
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:Operations Support:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the team and operational managers, such as scheduling meetings, handling communications, and preparing reports.
- Coordinate logistics, including resource scheduling and allocation of rooms, equipment, and personnel.
- Manage inventory levels by tracking usage, monitoring supplies, and placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to best practices across the facility.
Marketing and Communications:
- Create, edit, and format marketing materials such as presentations, flyers, brochures, and newsletters for internal and external audiences.
- Assist with managing social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Help organize and coordinate community outreach events and initiatives, including logistics, vendor management, and attendee registration.
- Maintain and update client databases, contact lists, and other relevant records for marketing purposes.
- Assist with managing the healthcare facility's website under the guidance of the project manager, ensuring content is up-to-date, engaging, and consistent with the facility's brand and messaging.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects as the operations team assigns.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout the facility.
- Maintain flexibility to travel within Saskatchewan to support operations or marketing activities when required.
Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years proven work experience in an administrative or office support role with additional experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Adobe, and other office management software.
- Basic understanding of graphic design, videography, and social media content creation using tools such as Canva and other software programs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
