**Job Title: Server**

**Position Summary**

Providing full-service dining experience to customers. Able to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are also essential for success in this role.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Greeting customers, interacting with customers, taking orders, answering questions, providing recommendations.
- Accurately inputting orders into the POS system.
- Serving food and drinks, ensuring that they are properly prepared and presented.
- Periodically checking on customers to ensure their satisfaction, refilling drinks, and answering any questions they may have.
- Processing payments from customers and troubleshooting any issues that may arise with payments.
- Keeping work area clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean workspace.
- Upselling. Recommending menu items, specials, or promotions to customers in an effort to increase sales and revenue.
- vCollaborating and communicating with kitchen staff, to ensure that food is prepared and delivered in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
- Knowledge in Japanese cuisine and culture is an asset
- Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills
- A keen eye for details and accuracy.
- Good time management skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Smart Serve certification

**Job Title: Host**

**Position Summary**

Welcoming and seating guests and facilitating reservations. Able to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service. Strong communication, and organizational skills are also essential for success in this role.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet incoming and departing customers warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Escort customers to assigned dining area and present menus
- Inform customers of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
- Manage the flow of customers into the dining area, provide accurate wait times to incoming customers when appropriate
- Tend to special customers’ needs and requests.
- Help fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working environment

**Qualifications**:

- Previous host experience is preferred.
- Must be attentive to detail, good at multitasking.
- Professionalism and knowledge of telephone etiquetteis a must.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Must be able to clearly communicate customers' needs to teammates.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be upbeat, outgoing, and positive.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
