**Votre mandat**

CBC/Radio-Canada est à la recherche d’un reporter-rédacteur ou d’une reporter-rédactrice qui contribuera principalement aux plateformes numériques (CBC.ca et médias sociaux). Ce poste est basé à Hamilton, en Ontario.

Journaliste d’exception ayant le sens de l’initiative, vous devrez analyser un large éventail de sujets, et pouvoir bien fonctionner dans le milieu trépidant d’une salle des nouvelles multiplateforme. Vous connaissez bien les différents types de plateformes, mais vous êtes surtout et avant tout adepte du numérique. Vous savez rédiger, vérifier et mettre en forme du contenu d’information numérique, notamment du contenu vidéo. Vous comptez sur la qualité visuelle de vos reportages pour accroître l’engagement de l’auditoire. Les médias sociaux n’ont pas de secret pour vous, et vous êtes à l’aise pour trouver vos propres sujets, tourner et monter des vidéos, et rédiger des contenus en fonction du matériel recueilli par vos collègues. Vous apportez votre aide pour mener d’autres reportages à bien. Vous avez une connaissance supérieure des médias sociaux, de la photographie et de la vidéo, et vous aspirez à l’excellence journalistique.

Vous aimez innover dans le traitement des sujets et vous inspirez les autres à vous suivre dans cette voie. Vous connaissez bien la géographie et la culture de Hamilton et de la région de Niagara. Vous avez à cœur de présenter des reportages du point de vue des groupes méritant l’équité et des communautés autochtones.

Vous pensez avoir la capacité et la motivation nécessaires pour évoluer dans un milieu bouillonnant et en constante transformation? Que ce soit au micro, devant la caméra, en ligne ou dans les coulisses, vous ferez partie d’une équipe qui œuvre à créer des liens et à présenter des sujets importants pour la population de Hamilton et sa région.

**Tâches principales**:

- Proposer des idées de reportage, faire des recherches (sources et renseignements) et vérifier les faits pour produire des articles d’initiative de longueur variée en tenant compte des formats propres au récit numérique pour toucher et informer l’auditoire, renforcer nos liens avec la communauté et favoriser la diversité des points de vue;
- Réagir rapidement aux événements qui surviennent pour alimenter les nouvelles de dernière heure sur l’ensemble des plateformes (web, médias sociaux, radio et vidéo);
- Utiliser le contenu des autres plateformes de CBC : rédiger et mettre en forme les sujets en choisissant des titres, des photos, des vidéos, du contenu audio et des illustrations qui interpellent, en fonction des données et mesures de l’auditoire les plus récentes;
- Se tenir au courant des dernières tendances sur les médias sociaux qui peuvent être exploitées pour élargir notre auditoire et enrichir notre journalisme;
- Mettre à profit son intérêt pour le journalisme de données et son expérience dans le domaine pour fouiller les données ouvertes et d’autres sources qui permettent de rédiger des récits intéressants et uniques, basés sur les données, et participer à la conception de tableaux interactifs;
- Réviser et publier du contenu web provenant d’autres rédacteurs;
- Aller à la rencontre de la population pour aider à élargir l’auditoire de CBC Hamilton.

**Profil recherché**:

- Expérience de travail avérée dans un environnement de nouvelles de dernière heure;
- Excellente compréhension de la diffusion de nouvelles en ligne, y compris sur le plan des médias sociaux, des méthodes de distribution du contenu en ligne et des techniques de communication propres au numérique;
