**About the role**:
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and personable individual who is able to work well with our guests and staff. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask, and be able to take direction well. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail oriented. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting guests as they enter our restaurant
- Taking orders while observing customers' interactions with other staff members
- Serving food and beverages while observing customers' interactions with other staff members
- Checking orders against the order list to ensure proper serving size while observing inventory levels
- Cleaning tables and chairs after guests leave
- Maintaining sanitary conditions in the restaurant area (e.g. removing trash)
- Maintaining knowledge of current events within Markham, ON as well as in other parts of the world
- Working cooperatively with other restaurant staff members (e.g. managers)
- Working safely by following health and safety regulations

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
