Part-time Front Desk Gym Attendant

**Education**:Secondary School Diploma
Our Front Desk position is a fantastic entry point opportunity for what could turn into training and exposure to a facility where you can draw from and build on your Personal training experience. The front desk position is perfect for Kinesiology students, Kinesiology graduates, and personal trainers looking for more. Gain valuable knowledge from our team of health & fitness professionals along with group fitness leadership, active rehab, and advanced personal training experience.
We are looking for someone with strong customer service and excellent communication skills who is a team player with a positive, caring attitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for the first impression of our company and will truly be an essential part of our success.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- General gym cleanliness and appearance
- Customer Service/Support - Being the first point of contact for our members
- Promoting personal training and fitness classes
- Scheduling personal training and group class appointments
- Balancing End of Day transactions
- Making and recording sales of gym memberships and other products
- Answering multi-line telephone system
- General computer knowledge and proficiency
- Experience with social media is an asset but not a requirement
- Maintaining members files/records
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Able to handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to work well independently as well within a supportive team-oriented environment
- Certified in First Aid (an asset but not required)
- Certified in Food Safe (an asset but not required)
- Knowledge of ABC financial computer system (an asset but not a requirement)
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
