University Health Network (UHN) is a research hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto and a member of the Toronto Academic Health Science Network. **Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or science-related discipline
- One to two years appropriate clinical and/or professional experience
- At least one (1) year clinical research experience
- Experience and expertise in recruiting patients required to clinical trial
- Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as ICH/GCP guidelines, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki and FDA CFR and Health Canada TPD, as required
- Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures, as required
- Excellent problem solving skills required
- Computer knowledge required
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team in a health care setting an asset
- Experience working with autoimmune liver disease an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, prioritization skills, good computer skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently, and high level of comfort with diverse population
- Must be able to work in a variety of social and physical setting, including lifting boxes; flexible to work some weekends
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license and ability to travel between sites by car or public transportation
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
- Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks
