Willowbrook Montessori Daycare have been operating daycare services since 2007 in the Langley area. We are recently opening a brand-new campus at the **Latimer location:8157 198A Street, Langley **and will tentatively start operating on March 2024.

Willowbrook Montessori Daycare - **Latimer Camous** is looking for a **full-time infant and toddler assistant teacher**. We are looking for someone who is able to be a positive role model for the students. Someone who is self-motivated and loves interacting with others. We are seeking a team-player who is motivated to improve our program and grow alongside us.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
- Be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children.
- Provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the classrooms.
- Ability to communicate with students, parents, staff, and administration.
- Be fully aware of all licensing requirements and be prepared to implement and follow through.
- Have adequate knowledge of the basic operational requirements & policies as described by Licensing.
- Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively in a group setting. Work with staff to develop the potentialities of the children in the group. Bring to the attention of adjustment problems, such as difficulty of separation from the home and inability to adapt to a group situation.
- Be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to children, parents, coworkers, volunteers and other professionals and agencies.
- Be able to lead circle time, arts and craft times, etc.
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety of each child at all times - being of the children at all times being alert for the needs and problems of the children as individuals and as a group.

Qualifications:

- **British Columbia Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate/diploma**:

- **British Columbia Infant and Toddler Certificate/diploma**:

- **Montessori certificate**:

- Current first aid and criminal records check
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
- Prior Supervisory Experience is an asset
- Experience with young children
- Criminal Record Review.
- 3 Reference letters related to the field.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:
