Ignition Marine is a knowledge edge Marine Company that is providing various kinds of mechanical, electrical, and structural maintenance to different kinds of Yachts and Boats. Ignition Marine’s core value is loyalty, harmony, high performance, and continuous improvement. Individuals with a desire to flourish their personal skills alongside the company’s goal have an opportunity to become a part of Ignition Marine Company. Currently, the company is in the expansion process and have hiring opportunities for service advisor. Ignition Marine is looking for a passionate experienced person to work as a service advisor who is planning for a long-term career.
- MUST have a strong marine technical background and be able to read the manuals and order the parts based on each engine specification.
- Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
- Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
- Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labor into consideration
- Prepare repair orders by detailing the Yachts' problems or symptoms
- Connecting customers to the right marine technician
- Maintaining mechanical records by keeping track of problems and corrective action
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions effectively
- Critical thinking, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to perform their job successfully
- Knowledge of digital technology including the ability to use the internet and the appropriate software
- Ability to interpret technical terms for the customers
- Patience to cope with different customers’ personalities
- Decision-making skills
- Proficiency with industry-specific software
- Analytical thinking
- Manage Technicians on a daily basis and ensure job duties are performed in an efficient and safe manner.
- Coordinate and participate with the technical teams to help troubleshoot problems and resolve customer concerns while managing service

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
