**Duties and Responsibilities**

**1.** **Determine the customer’s need**
- Manage incoming calls from customers
- Manage order desk inbox
- Determine proper channels for inquiries

**2.** **Process quotes and orders through our ERP system**
- Accurately enter quotes and route for approval
- Accurately enter orders directly or via Excel tools
- Coordinate with production to ensure accurate lead times are quoted
- Print and assemble work orders and travelers for production
- Clarify details with customers and production when required

**3.** **Create and grow customer relationships**
- Follow up with customers on quotes
- Communicate order delays to customers
- Resolve customer issues/complaints
- Provide specifications, warranty documentation, etc. to customers when requested

**4.** **Administrative**
- Organize sales samples at front counter
- Track sample quantities and order more when required
- Maintain order form stock
- Assemble colour chip sets for customers
- Prepare sample packs for customers for pickup and/or shipping

**Required skills and experience**:

- Good mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good understanding of mathematics and geometry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience using ERP/Order entry software is an asset
- Proficient with operating a computer running Microsoft Windows 10 and using Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset

**Salary**: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
