- Conferring with planners, drivers, and other dispatchers to ensure everyone is aware of continuing developments.
- Monitoring personnel and equipment utilization in order to coordinate schedules, ensuring a timely, efficient movement of the freight.
- Maintaining a positive, caring and supportive communications with drivers during the route time
- Preparing ACE, ACI and other dispatch related paperwork, manage Customs documents and records
- Updating websites accurately and in a timely manner.
- Viewing and monitoring satellite messages on a continual basis.
- Providing customer service in respect to changes on loads and scheduling.
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as updating TMW, maintaining and processing paperwork.
- Prioritizing and organizing work to accomplish your daily tasks efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships.
- Acting as the direct supervisor for driver pool.
- Monitoring the status of loads.
- Documenting all service failures and incident reports where applicable Salary: From $24.00 per hour Benefits:
