Skills and Qualifications

Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent related work experience;
Two (2) years of previous experience;
Supervisory experience in the areas of cargo, passenger service airport, and/or reservations preferred;
Instructor training knowledge and experience preferred;
Must be willing to travel extensively (60% of the time);
Must possess a thorough knowledge of airport ground operations, cargo procedures, and have an understanding of interdepartmental functions within the airline industry;
Superior operating knowledge of Sabre and Skyline a definite asset;
Strong leadership and customer service skills;
Excellent organizational, problem solving, decision making and prioritizing skills;
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision;
Must be proficient with Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Bilingualism in French considered an asset;
Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;
Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver training courses for the Commercial operational Customer Facing group in class and remotely - focus on Customer Service in Airports and Cargo
Assist in the implementing, monitoring, and standardizing of existing training material related to the Airport and Cargo product;
Act as a support or help desk for Sabre, Skyline and procedural related questions;
Assist in the research and development of new training programs, materials and course outlines;
Draft bulletins to be issued to Airports, Cargo, Station Agents;
Assist in cut-over and/or openings of new locations;
Recommend new or changed policies and procedures and may develop them for approval;
Support the front line with Sabre, Skyline procedural and technical questions;
Perform station audits/ quality checks and follow up for effectiveness;
Other duties as assigned.
